As someone who seriously struggles to keep his entity count down, especially after the entity distance was raised, the 200-entity limit is a fantasy at best and untenable at worst. For those of you who don't know, I like to keep animal pens around me, as well as some villagers for trade. Not so bad, right? The problem is that I live on an island surrounded by fish and squid and the occasional. Those mobs alone can take up a third of my entity count, and that's when I keep it below 200. Add in 17 sheep, 1 wolf of each collar, 9 stacks of eggs' worth of chickens and some extra, a scute farm, 2 horses, mooshroom and pig pens, a rabbit hutch with 2 of each type obtainable in survival, etc., etc., and we're seeing around 300 entities. And that's before you factor in the villager market I had before committing genocide.

There are two solutions I can see:
1. Lower the entity render distance back to what it was at the start of the map, making it so you basically have to cheese Bullseye and Sniper Duel,
or 2. Raise the entity limit specified in the rules.

Seriously, this is a struggle for me and, I'm sure, many other players here who have a half-decent base established. Something needs to change, and either way, people will be upset.

Logged in today, saw someone took my beacon my armour and my bird is missing, not sure what else they took but wanted to know if there is anyway to fix this?

I hadn't even said a single word after rejoining the server after a restart and resumed digging. M1klow logs on and within the first 15 minutes of joining he is running his mouth and starting trouble. Something needs done with him, a lot of us are sick of his crap.

We're getting close to the release of 1.20 and with it we're getting a lot of new items, structures and biomes. Are we getting the usual border expansion + chunks not visited in 6 months reset?

Looks like the web service provider went out of business. No way to support VH!

I believe I've identified GoinUnderground as a persistent griefer/raider and their stats bear this out: lots of traveling and opening containers but little constructive activity.

I was AFK, heard noises, and saw them on my minimap a couple of seconds before they killed me.

I am orsnoire, and just want to know if it would be possible to receive a file download for the 1.16+ map to explore, thanks!

Hey! This is my first post in this forum and I'm not sure if I use the correct board (please tell me if it's not), but there's someone spamming in chat today. Not sure if they're hacked or just a spammer. Screenshot below.

I was banned a couple years back for hacking & griefing. I want to express my sincere apologies for my past behavior and I assure you that I do not have any hack clients installed. I play the game legitimately and have changed from my old ways. Since my ban, I have reflected on my mistakes and learned from them. It has been a couple years since I was banned, and it's very hard to find a server as cherishing as VanillaHigh was. 

I get that actions have consequences, but I hope you can see that I am remorseful for my past behavior and am committed to following the server guidelines and positively contributing to the server. If you could consider unbanning me, I would be extremely grateful.

.. Only this time the perpetrator(s) broke many a block .. lava-caste the household .. butchered the innocent animals, slaughtered the friendly villagers.. and ransacked everything that looked even remotely like a storage unit.

Justice must be done! .. and the great falling rose equestrian estate must be restored to its former glory!
