Hi. Flint and steel is currently disallowed. This is because there's a serious bug in the game that can be exploited using flint and steel to instantly crash Vanilla servers. As Vanilla High is a Vanilla server, we're dependent on Mojang to release a fix. In the meantime, we have to mitigate the problem by disallowing flint and steel. As we understand that players still need to use Nether portals, we're replacing flint and steel with 5 fire charges that can be use to light nether portals. This mitigation will be disabled when Mojang releases a fix.
