This behaviour is consistent with what is observed by an attack where players try to generate chunks at a high rate without being 'physically' present at the location, putting stress on the server to the point of crashing it. I am not convinced this is a false positive because with false positives, the click coordinates are not very far away from the actual location of the player. In your case, it was in the 3 million blocks away. The ban stays.

Attempts to crash the server with an exploit is a denial of service attack. All players attempting such attacks on the server in the past have been perm banned. Give me a good reason why someone trying to crash a server where everyone gets to play for free and no staff member gets paid should not get banned.
